The Gourmet Delights of Pulai Springs Resort
QING PALACE
An ancient Chinese palace within a royal Malay palace
- where a team of masterchefs serves authentic flavours
of Canton, Szechuan and Foochow, worthy of an Emperor's
table. The Qing Palace Chinese Restaurant was voted consecutively
from 1999-2005 as "One of Malaysia's Best Restaurant"
by Malaysian Tatler.
The Qing Palace Chinese Restaurant's interior is that
of an ancient imperial dining hall with genuine antique
furniture, paintings, carvings and even silk lanterns!
The Szechuan, Fuzhou and Cantonese cuisine served by the
Qing Palace is a feature not to be missed by any visitor.
With signature dishes such as the Szechuan Hot and Sour
Soup, Champhor and Tea Smoked Duck and a multitude of
other main courses perfectly complemented with a dessert
of oni (yam puree) and mua ji (peanut balls). It is not
suprising to discover that Qing Palace has been voted
one of the Best Restaurants in Malaysia by Malaysian Tatler
for six consecutive years (1999-2005).
GLENEGLES TERRACE
with its unique Scottish interior (in honour of Scotland,
the home of golf) and magnificent views of the golf courses,
offers a delightful mix of local and western cuisine.
Peranakan, Malay, Chinese and Western specialties are
served here. The Gleneagles Terrace serves a selection
of delectable local and Western cuisine. The curry dishes
and spicy chicken wings are a particular delight. In the
evenings a live band entertains at the terrace with a
stunning night view of the fully lighted course.
WATERFALLS CAFE
provides a relaxed setting for light snacks and refreshments
amidst the soothing tinkling of water and the sparkling
horizon of the resort pools. The Waterfalls Cafe by the
poolside is an ideal for refreshments after a vigorous
swim.
ELEPHANT &
CASTLE
(English pub & karaoke), sharing the same name as
the famous pub in South London, boasts of stained glass
ceilings and rich wooden panelling complemented by brass
fittings and luxurious English leather wing chairs. For
a nightcap after dinner head to the Elephant and Castle,
a typical English pub with an Asian twist karaoke! |
